This protection plan is a month-to-month service agreement that provides replacements of eligible smart home devices when they experience a mechanical breakdown due to normal wear and tear. Devices covered by the plan include: security systems, hubs/home controllers, thermostats, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, door locks, doorbells, garage door openers, flood lamps and speakers. The plan has a $50 deductible due per claim, however, this will be waived if the replacement is less than the deductible.
If one of your eligible devices stops working, place a claim online or by phone. A $50 deductible is collected at that time. If the replacement device is less than $50, the deductible will be waived. Next, we'll confirm coverage and find a replacement device of like kind or quality and have it shipped directly to your home. It's that simple!
There is a 30-day waiting period from the time you purchase your plan to when you can place a claim. Once enrolled, you will receive an email within 48 hours with instructions on how to access your plan documents.
This protection plan is a month-to-month service agreement that automatically renews each month. You’ll be charged at the time of enrollment and then on a recurring monthly basis.
