I am very happy with Cinch. Submitting a claim with Cinch was straightforward; they sent someone out quickly. The service was much faster compared to other home warranties I've previously used. Their quick and efficient service stands out. My granddaughter submitted the claim online, and they called me soon after to set up an appointment. The tech arrived the next day, which was very convenient.
I haven't had many claims, but the one experience I had was handled swiftly and met my expectations. I rate my experience with Cinch as fabulous. Their customer service is excellent, as are the services they provide.
Cinch takes care of the customer when there's a problem. The person they decide to use follows up and texts you every step. They have good customer service and always present themselves well. Whenever you have a question, they're always there to answer it. Recently, my water heater was leaking. It couldn't be fixed so it had to be replaced. If I know somebody's looking for a home warranty, I always tell them about Cinch Home Services. They're wonderful. You don't have to go out there and look for anyone to fix anything for you ‘cause they got your back.
My experience when submitting a claim was very seamless and effortless. The tech who came knew what the issue was with the heater immediately and he ordered the fan motor. They had it the next morning and he came and put it in the next morning. It was during the winter when I didn't have heat because of it and they were really fast and on the ball.
Wondering how a home protection plan from Cinch Home Services works? We've got you covered.
As required by mortgage lenders, homeowners insurance protects your home from weather and theft and covers your liability if someone is injured while on your property. Only sometimes will it also cover some or all of your home’s systems and appliances. If, like many homeowners, you look into your coverage and discover that these systems and appliances are exempt, a home protection plan is a great way to fill that coverage gap.
There is a waiting period from when you purchase your home protection plan to when you can request service. You'll be advised when your coverage begins before you purchase your plan. Your confirmation email and plan documents will also include this information.
At Cinch Home Services, we strive to keep our claims process simple. If you have a problem with an appliance or system, first review your coverage to make sure you have a claim. Then place a service request by calling or reaching out to us online. Next, we’ll have a service provider contact you so you can agree on a good time for an in-person appointment. During the visit, your item will be diagnosed, and any covered failures will be repaired and/or replaced — unless a part needs to be ordered or acquired first.
Other non-mechanical items in your home, like the roof, windows, walls and doors, are typically not included in home warranty coverage. Also, if a covered item was improperly installed or repaired, your plan will likely not cover it. It's important to read the details included in the "General Exclusions and Limitations" section of the terms and conditions. Before you buy a plan, it's a good idea to check out the sample terms and conditions. Existing customers can access their plan in My Account, anytime.
Every service provider referred by Cinch Home Services has undergone an extensive screening and selection process. This process includes, but is not limited to, license checks and verification of active liability insurance. We also continuously monitor and score our service providers based on customer feedback.
